Every scarf tells a story
My Paris Metro Scarf captures various aspects of my visits to Paris. Every time I go to this fabulous place, it is a different experience.
I once took my mother, who lives in California, with me — it was her first visit there and I was two weeks from giving birth to my first child. We walked — slowly — everywhere in the autumn sunshine and visited beautiful gardens and restaurants. I’ve met my dear friend for a flying visit, making new friends studying fashion design in Montmartre, staying up late into the night over wine and beautiful food. My husband and I have enjoy long weekends there with and without our lovely children, and I’ve pushed a stroller around when he’s been on work trips, meeting old friends on their layovers.
No matter what my situation is, I love Paris.
Paris is a city for every kind of adventure. For long walks, art and architecture, long leisurely meals with loved ones, cozy cafés, and shopping with (and without!) my children. I have so many brilliant memories of this place - and I wrap myself up in them when I wear this scarf.
Each scarf begins as a memory, evolving into a hand-painted story and design, finally transforming into a wearable piece of art. It’s magic.
Every one of my scarves is hand-finished and produced in limited quantities.
