SCARVES

Our scarves are crafted from 100% mulberry silk. We source our silk from the only organic certified supplier in the UK, and our silk woven fabrics have received accreditation from the Global Organic Textile Standard.

GOTS is recognised worldwide as the leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres, and in order to become GOTS certified, textile products must contain a minimum of 70% organic fibres.

For the fibre itself to be GOTS certified, the independent bodies require evidence that the organic fibres have been used farmed without genetically modified seeds, and without the use of any chemicals, pesticides or AZO dyes. This provides reassurance to the customer that their organic materials contain no harmful or toxic chemicals.

The environmental criteria for processing and manufacturing includes ensuring that any packaging does not contain PVC and the processing of organic textiles must be clearly separated from that of non-organic products.

To guarantee fair and socially responsible production of GOTS fibres, all processors and manufacturers must meet the guidelines of the International Labour Organisation. Their ethical business practices ensure fair wages among workers, safe and hygienic working conditions, no inhumane treatment of workers and no child labour.

STATIONERY

Our stationery is made from Cartiere Medioevalis Fabriano since 1904. It is a heavyweight, mould-made, cold-pressed paper with a subtle off-white/ivory tone.

Each individual heavyweight card has been carefully hand-torn from larger watermarked sheets for a distinctive deckled edge. Kathy hand paints every card and each may be customised.

BESPOKE

After we've finalised and painted your design, it usually takes about 6-8 weeks to manufacture your wearable piece of art. If you would like it sooner, just let us know—we’re happy to expedite the process.

Keep in mind, the consultation and design phase can sometimes take the most time, but we want our patrons to be happy with their art and we endeavour to make this an enjoyable and collaborative experience.
