The heart of our brand is wearing our stories, sharing our joy, creativity, and fun through wearable art, sustainably and ethically.
Things made beautifully last forever. Sustainability isn’t an add-on to our brand. Much like a paintbrush is to our work, it is at the centre of what we do and if it doesn’t align to our values, we simply don’t do it.
Kathy’s bespoke hand painted, digitally printed and hand finished 100% silk twill scarves are designed to live in your wardrobe forever (and not in landfill). Kathy has partnered with the only Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified and organic silk supplier in the UK to print and hand finish her scarves.
Kathy’s silk scarves are sourced from the only Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified and organic silk supplier in the UK. As a GOTS certified company, our partner’s production processes are stringently monitored to ensure that all fabrics are produced ethically, and in fair working conditions.
All scarves are made without harmful chemicals, where 100% of the water used is drawn from our partner’s very own reservoir, which contains no chlorine, chloramines, mercury, VOC’s, pharmaceuticals, herbicides or pesticides.
Scarves are packaged in a book-style box with a ribbon closure, enveloped in archival acid-free paper to help preserve it. All cards and ribbons included are also made from recycled materials. Should the box be disposed of, it is biodegradable, compostable, recyclable, made from recycled materials and is sustainably sourced.
We also partner with Ecologi to reduce our carbon footprint.
We are currently undertaking b-corp BIA as part of our commitment to the movement.
