What does sustainability mean to me?

I want my wearable art to be worn forever, not in landfill.

It means living my values at every step of my journey. And not doing something only because it makes good business sense, but because it is good for people and the planet.

And it is a journey, right? I am sharing mine with you. It’s never too late to start, and I’m starting my art business off my way, aligned to my values and am following my heart. I want my wearable art to be worn forever, not in landfill.

I am currently undertaking b-corp certification and am launching my brand in at an event in April. My journey started while I was consulting in climate advocacy and culminated at the CISL accelerator in Cambridge. Our approach to GOTS, global warming, deadstock, ethics, and transparent reporting is openly available on our sustainability governance section of our website: https://www.kathykyle.com/sustainability

We are working through our BIA with B-Lab to ensure we are achieving. We currently use SME climate lab tools to achieve our targets.

I knew that I always wanted to create art from a young age, make a difference, and do no harm. It’s never too late to be brave, so go for it.
