Meet Anna

Creating luxury bespoke wearable art is at the heart of my brand

I have always been a visual storyteller and feel so grateful that I am trusted to hand paint stories into luxurious, ethical wearable art.

Recently I was able to create something totally unique for an amazing, inspiring artist, Anna Kompaniets. Anna is an inspiring performance artist specialising in wearable art and scarves. I am grateful to be able to collaborate with her on this piece.

Learn more about our process and stay tuned for Anna’s final piece in the coming weeks.

As with all of my bespoke pieces, I like to get to know the person for whom I am creating art. I was so inspired by Anna’s story and journey — it was a joy to collaborate with her. We met on Carnaby Street to discuss what she wanted to see on her bespoke piece. We were aligned on our sustainability and ethical outlook; also Anna already has such great insights, ideas on design and the artistry of scarves.

As with all of my clients, we discussed all of the elements in her life that would suit a 90x90 silk scarf.

I walked Anna through my process and explained how I create a sketch in Procreate to represent her story. She then provides feedback, ideas and any additional references. I then iterate the design, develop a line drawing on Arches paper and hand paint her artwork.

I can help you imagine your very own wearable piece of art, designed and sustainably printed in the UK and ethically hand finished in artisans Lyon. These are the same artisans who sew for luxury brands and are quite simply, the best.

I am so happy Anna is happy with her artwork. She is so lovely and it has been a joy to collaborate with her on this. I am grateful to be able to work with her on this. It has been a joy to work with her and to push myself creatively and technically on this piece.
